Here, here. I call this first meeting of Yaks Anonymous, further known as YA, to order.

A very dear friend, and raid leader Raineva, whom you guys have heard about many times, came to me a couple of months ago and asked me which mount I wanted most in Mists. My answer was of course the Yak, 3 person mount, but most of all the portable vendor and reforger are the real selling points.

I have till this time in my WoW career given mounts very little bother, I have some, I even manage to have some rarer ones, but I never got the traveling Mammoth, nor the regular mammoth, saving up that much Gold was NOT appealing to me, but by Thor’s Hammer I was going to get this Yak!

120,000 GOLD! ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND!

Yup, that stupid Yak is 60,000 gold. Now I will start by saying that around 6,000 is a comfortable level of gold for me 20,000 and I’m feeling mighty impressive, I have NEVER had 60,000 gold all at one time. I know there are people out there that are amazing Gold makers, and I envy you, but I’m not.

So how were we going to get to 120K to get the mount, all while having enough for raid repairs?

• We are not allowed to spend more than 100G for anything with out another members approval.
• While leveling we can not use our professions on our own armor. For her she can’t enchant her own stuff, she vellums it and then tosses it on the AH, as for me no gemming my gear, they also go straight on the AH, which granted isn’t a big deal for me since gear gets replaced at such a high rate that it won’t really matter all that much.
• We have to do EVERY daily we can, every day!
